Celebrating Chinese Traditional Lantern Festival

The #LanternFestival falls on the 15th day of the first lunar calendar. It is always the first full moon night in the lunar New Year. Traditionally, the Lantern Festival is a part of the Spring Festival.
Across China, people celebrate by various kinds of activities, such as hanging up lanterns and festoons, lighting fireworks, lion dance, guessing lantern riddles, and making “Yuan Xiao”, which is also called Tangyuan, the special dish for Lantern Festival.
The white color and round shape of Tangyuan is like the round moon on the night of #LanternFestival, and symbolizes the reunion and perfection of each family.
